have it the rental agents can sell it. Rates
are subject to change without notice, until
such time that a reservation is confirmed.

Why are 699RentACar rates so low?
The company was organized in April 1986 as wholesale
car, van and truck distributor. We have been a part
of a vast network of dealers, supplying new car stores,
retail market dealers, and leasing companies with inventory.
As the company grew, we branched out into the retail
sector of sales and leasing. Due to this expanssion,
the demand for low cost car rentals became increasingly
evident, thus the idea and the program was concieved,
and 699RentACar was born. With our wholesale auto experience
under our belt, we were able to facilitate the supply
to the growing demand for cheap car rentals. Our staple
has been to provide a quality fleet of late model to
newer model cars at the lowest possible rates. Thus,
creating a new standard in giving you the knowledge
and peace of mind that you can get our low rates any
day, every day, without any fluctuations in rates, block
out dates, or higher weekday rates. While sometimes,
the great gets even better, our fantastic specials add

Can I rent a car without a credit card?
Yes, at 699RentACar we accept bank issued check or debit
cards with either a Visa or Master Card logo. You must
have at least $300. US available at time of pick up.
Sorry but prepaid credit cards will be not accepted.

Which are acceptable charge cards at 699RentACar?
We accept American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover,
bank debit and check cards with a Visa or Master Card
logo. Pre paid credit cards are not accepted.

Can I rent a car if I'm under 25?
Yes, you can rent a car if you are over 18. These are
the conditions; 18 - 21, and 22 - 25, you must show
proof of an auto liability policy and have an additional
policy covering comprehensive and collision damage that
will bridge to the rental car and have a major credit
card in your name. Bank check or debit cards are accepted
for underage drivers only if there is a comprehensive
and collision policy in affect that bridges to the rental
car. Another option is to be named as an additional
insured on a some one else's auto liability policy that
will offer the same privilages, to the additional insured,
as that of the policy holder and have comprehensive
and collision coverage that bridges to the rental car.
Or use a credit card, in lieu of a comprehensive and
collision policy, that will offer car rental damage
protection as a benefit to the card holder. In addition
there is a charge of $10.00 per day through ages between
18 - 21. Ages 22-25 respectively, the same as above
mentioned conditions apply, although you get a considerable
discount of 50% in your underage fee.

All about Drivers Licenses...
699RentACar accepts valid driver licenses from any state
in the U.S. and foreign countries. It is always a good
idea to have with you your international driving permit
along with countries drivers license. However, the Internaional
Driving Permit serves as a translation only, it can
not be accepted instead of a drivers license issued
by the department responsible for driver licensing within
the state or country of issue. You must present your
valid drivers license when picking up the rental car,
and the license must be valid for the term of the rental.
Copies, faxed copies of a license will be refused, only
originals will be accepted. California interim drivers
licenses are accepted along with a picture ID. Expired
licenses are NOT accepted unless they are accompanied
with a California renewal slip. Out of state expired
licenses are not accepted under any conditions.
Learner's permits are not accepted.

Is there a fee for additional drivers?
There is no additional driver fee for one additional
driver, however there is a charge of $3.00 per day for
any more than one additional driver.

Can I drive the car out of state?
All our rates are for the L.A. region usage, however
you may travel throughout California and as far as Nevada
with prior written authorization. A one time out of
region fee may apply, or rates may change to reflect
the usage. Fees and mileage plans are tailored for your
trip if usage is to be a one time long distance event.
Most rental agencies do not allow out of state travel,
since we do accomodate for such requests, we do ask
that you have some mechanical knowledge and be mechanically
inclined while outside of the local region, so as to
be able to assist our mechanics in diagnosing and resolving
a mechanical probem, should one occur, in the most expedicious
way.

Is there an after hour drop off?
Yes, you can drop the car off 24 hours a day, just ask
any of our reservation agents for details when picking
up your rental.

Can I have the car delivered to me or returned
to other locations or the Airports?
Yes you can, there is a fee of $55 for the Valet Service,
where we bring the car to your door. With this convenient
service you may also return the car at your hotel, home,
place of employment or the airports. However you are
still responsible for the rental car charges and damages
until the car is checked in by a staff member of 699RentACar.
This service is available only within the Greater Los
Angeles Area, and the service is based on a per event
basis. The fee to drop off at a 699RentACar location,
other than the one where the car was picked up from,
is $25.

Liability Insurance - Third Party Coverage, ( Renters
Liability Protection )
As mandated by state law every driver must have auto
Liability Insurance. We make it available to you at
an additional cost, should you need it, offering auto
liability protection to the states required minimum
limits. The daily rate is $12.99.
SLI - Supplemental Liability, ( Increased Liability
Limits )
SLI offers additional Liability coverage to that of
the states required minimums up to $1,000,000.00 (one
million dollars) in coverage. The daily rate is $12.99
Property Loss and Damage Protection-(Loss Damage Waiver)
LDW rates are $8.99 per day. This policy limits the
financial responsibility of the renter from having to
pay for physical damages to the rented vehicle, no matter
who's at fault, for example, accidental or incidental
body damage, fire , theft, vandalizm.

Does 699RentACar offer free or unlimited
mileage plans?
We have, not one, not two, but THREE mileage programs
available to you. Basic Rate plan, you pay per mile
(the cheapest rate for local driving).
Prefferred Rate Plan, offers mileage included in the
rate from 100 to 200 miles daily. Special Package Rates,
offers customized flat rate trip rates (great for long
distance travel). Just pick the one that best fits your
usage. Save money and happy motoring.

Does 699RentACar rent child seats?
We do not rent child seats, you must provide your own.

How old is the 699RentACar Fleet?
The age of the vehicles ranges from mid nineties to
todays newer models.

Is there a 699RentACar anywhere else in
the US or the world?
At the moment we are based out of Los Angeles California,
however we are looking forward towards expanssion in
the near future to other locations in California and
the US.

Can I make a reservation on line?
It's as easy as clicking on the following word "Reservations"
and you'll be walked through the step by step process,
and by filling in the blank fields of of the reservations
page your reservation will have been made once you have
clicked on the submitt button. You will then recieve
your confirmation by an e-mail reponse with with in
24 hrs.

How do I know I have a confirmed reservation?
You will get a email in response to your reservation
request including your confirmation number, the class
of car for your reservation that was processed along
with the dates and times of your requested pick up and
drop off. You can then rest assured that your reservation
is being held. If you do not get a confirmation response
within 48 hrs, please don't wait any longer and call
us at 1-818-781-5100 to get a verbal confirmation.
